Dead chicken

We have 3 hens
1 has been sitting in nesting box for days but when she does come out she looks and acts fine
One of the other hens ( a very good size light Brahma ) was our and about and looking grand 2 hours later she was dead. Not sure what is going on?

I'm so sorry to hear this. I have had this happen with seemingly healthy chickens and I never got to the bottom of why. It's always 'my' chicken too.
