Dead Duck

I had 3 buff ducks around 10 weeks old we believed 2 drakes and a hen and this morning i went to check on them and there was a dead drake. I was playing with them last night and he seemed fine. i have goldfish in my pond and i have seen them eating the fish, i don't know if they poisoned him or if it was something different. i also read about blackflies carrying a disease that is fatal to ducks.

nothing. the 2 others are fine i hope.

i let them outside every morning and close them up every night

Possibly it had a bad heart ?....
