It had veins around day 4-6 but then couldn’t see them last day or so. Candled it and saw this. It’s dead right?

Yep, it has died.
That's what I was afraid of. I've had ZERO luck with getting mallard eggs to hatch. I can hatch my other duck eggs, but my mallard eggs either wont take, or take and die a week in. And I did crack one to verify it was fertilized. Oh well. Guess I'll try again another time. Hopefully the remaining 4 other duck eggs make it.

Do you have a separate Calibrated thermometers, & hygrometers?

Maybe there's something that's not right in the female duck's nutrition? She could be defiant in a certain vitamin, or mineral.
Maybe. It was also early. My mallard hens just started laying again, so I knew it was a gamble. oh well. I have 4 other duck eggs still set and a friend's chicken eggs. Thanks for your help.

You're welcome.

Maybe offer some extra vitamins, & see if makes a difference in embryo development?
