Dead hatchlings

I had a broody hen. Gave her eight eggs to sit on. Only two of the eight hatched out alive. We had two babies to hatch out Still born, and one that was deformed and did not hatch out at all.the other two were duds . Anyone have any ideas why all this would’ve happened? The eggs came from a flock of about 25. There are two roosters on site who know how to do their job well. We dusted all the chickens about four days before the chicks hatched. Could this have anything to do with that?

Could have been something to have with the mama leaving the eggs for an extended amount of time. Some mamas aren’t as good at there job and they will leave for longer than more dedicated birds.

Possibly a vitamin deficiency caused the defects? I'm only guessing though. Maybe infection?
