Dead momma duck.

Here is what I found after coming home from the swap. My momma duck gave her life protecting her babys from the predator who killed her. I'm on Pred~Con one so was this a weasel, mink? I'm leaning towards a weasel? Best way to take care of these little #%$&@#. I bought a muscovy hen so my Drake could have 2 girlfriends but I guess nature had other plans!

Farmers only worry during the growing season, but towns people worry all the time.

oh....I am so sorry this happened to your duck. I hope the others are still safe. Good luck catching the bad critter that did this.

I had a chicken that had the same neck trauma and I caught the hawk that did it red handed.
