I came home from school today and found one of my poults dead in a corner of it's pen with all the others huddling around it's body. When I took it out they started peeping. They're about a day off from being a month old. This poult was lying down with blood all over it's head, mostly on one side. It had spurted 3-4" in horizontally in one direction. All other turkeys were fine. It had no gashes that I saw, (I didn't look under it's feathers) so I assume it was hemorrhaged to death. What could cause this in a Turkey? He also ate WAY too **** much yesterday, there was a lump in it's throat about 3-5 times the size of it's neck, (not including feathers) the poult did however swallow it all.
