Dead raccoon stuck in the worst place! (pic)

The only thing about keeping him around for the chickens to snack on, is eventually I have to dispose of the carcass -- only in worse condition than it is now. YUK!!!! I just want that thing out of here! Anybody want to pick it up for coon soup??!

At least you found a hole in your defenses. When you finally figure out how to get him out of there, you'll have to patch that space with something.

And okay, I'll ask: why can't you just pull and tug till you get him out? And while he's still fresh too. Why not just cut him in two and get him out that way? I mean, he's dead and he has to be removed. It's gonna stink real bad soon if he's not removed.

What a big bloody mess that would be!! Right? I cringe at the thought of ripping this sucker apart. I think I might just try to poke around at it with a pitchfork. I dont know, Ive never dealt with this before. My hubby said, "Find a way to get it out of there, Im going to work." Thanks, hunny.

Ill let you know how it goes.

Sorry...couldn't help it.

Look on the bright side.. Perhaps that's his way of saying that he knows you're a capable, resourceful woman who can accomplish anything she puts her mind to. Or something.

I thought about putting it in the chicken coop after I get it out so the chickens can eat him. Not sure if they would, but weve had a coon in the coop before that have feasted on my chickens. I just like the idea of revenge for the chickens!

He should soften up in a day or two and slip right out. Just don't wait until the maggots begin their work!
