I partake of that show once in awhile. It's all pretty subjective, even with their computer simulations, and measurements. I think too much is placed on the real-time combatants - the ones who say how their ancient ancestor could kick your ancient ancestors butt - and not enough on tactics and weaponry. I mean just because the two dudes "win" against two other dudes today doesn't mean that's how it would've played out had the two warring cultures met for real. I do love those ancient and wicked weapons, though. I tend to like the older cultures than the ones like CIA vs. KGB. That's just me, though.
I was immensely disturbed at the "Pirate vs Knight" episode. The grenade should have knocked the knight out for a while.
"Spartan vs Ninja" was the coolest, IMHO. Haven't seen CIA vs KGB - I'll have to look it up. IRA vs Taliban annoyed me - I was expecting the Taliban to win.
