Sorry for your loss. Not sure whether it was a hawk or not (without a camera or definitive footprints or other evidence, it can be difficult to tell) but I would encourage you to share photos of your set up so folks can help with suggestions on how to improve predator proofing the coop and run.
As far as adding new chicks, while it might be tempting to do so, do make sure you have adequate room not just for the additional birds, but also to deal with integration.
