This little one has developed a cross beak, 😔 is it possible to keep it from getting worse? And if so, how?

Not sure how true it is but I heard their beak will get worse until they’re about 5 months old.
I am going to try and rehome with someone who is willing to work with a crossbeaked bird, or cull if it gets worse. Won’t do to keep as a breeding bird, even though I am thinking it was injury related...and not genetic
