If I could just convince my husband to read this thread he'd so understand the importance of why I'm either out with the hens or on computer.

How can a person survive without a Putor and great advice like given here?

My livestock guarding dog seems to be failing in her duties...

Any suggestions?

She will go outside with me, as long as I am not out there too long... and there is no one in the kitchen that might drop a morsel on the floor.

I understand it is chilly out, but some how I think she is shirking her duties.

She understands that it is so cold that the threats to livestock won't be out. She is conserving her energy for the onslaught after temps rise.

Best to let sleeping dogs lie.
