Have any of you had a chicken who just has a death wish??? 3 weeks ago, it was snowing and beautiful outside. My sweet 14 week old white leghorn was pouring blood out of her neck! I’m thinking a broken pin feather. Regardless - white world, white chicken.... shocking bloody mess. A week later, we were all packed up to head out to a 2 day vacation. I went out to lockup the birds and sure enough... same dang bird pouring blood out her chest. Looked like a solid puncture and missing feathers. impeccable timing. TODAY - a week later... she got hurt again on her neck and just drenched her neck. So she’s in the infirmary again. I’m starting to think she has a death wish or is desperate for the attention. Here is my “blue splash” white leghorn. (See what I did there?)
