No... I dont know anyone who would sell their show birds to a butchering place. Most of the birds you will find at a place like that are probably the same kind you would get from a hatchery.

Yo Chris! Karma's a *mean lady/breeding female dog* and she's got big teeth! But ya know what...? I live WAY closer than everyone else, and I'm not even gonna wear a costume! I've lived in TX for 16 yr--- does that mean I don't have to claim "yankee" status anymore?

Isn't it odd that bubble wrap for safety is what trips us up? I was so worried about using scissors I held the eggs over a pillow and unwrapped the tape, one bit at a time. Took blessed forever. And proved to me that I can hold my breath for about 20 minutes.

Hey you guys! I did find a trick that works better. Use a small utility knife. It cuts the tape but not into the bubble wrap or the egg. Slick as a whistle! Way better than scissors and you can lay it on the pillow before cutting!
