These chicks were 21 out of 32 eggs that hatched into some very lively chicks. Of possible parents, I have four roosters, a WLH, RIR, BR, and a LB. Since all but two of the eggs were brown, I'd say two came from WLH hens, and rest from either a BSL, two red comets, or one RIR. I have separated them by color into two brooders.

And these black ones: the gray banty in the picture is from a previous hatch but was so small I was afraid to integrate into the flock yet so I let it keep the babies company for a while. Also, there are two with red beaks and red down on their heads but black everywhere else which looked really neat to me anyway. oh and this bunch is not cold, they are camera shy for some reason, but the white and cream/red colored ones are not?
