Today I noticed a pile of feathers in my yard that were too many to be just from pruning. I ran to see and my kahki Campbell Drake had been killed, taken to the taller grass about five feet away and the head and neck are gone. What did this and how do I kill it?

Did it happen during the day....or.....?
Best keep them in a secure run until you figure out whodunit.
Game cam is your best bet.

Welcome to BYC @reeducationofmrcarpent sorry your duck died.
Where in this world are you located?
Climate, and time of year, is almost always a factor.
Please add your general geographical location to your profile.
It's easy to do, and then it's always there!

:welcome :frow I agree with a game camera. Could be almost any predator. It discovered your flock so it will be back. If you have a trap you can take the body and use it as bait. Good luck...
