December 2022 hatch-a-long

Pics
My last one took F_O_R_E_V_E_R!
I thought I was going to help it out. I woke up the next morning thinking I was gunna hafta, and then it was out.
Then after all that waiting it was a rooster.
I felt like the first one took forever. Noticed the pip at 430pm, but could have pipped anytime after 830 am,. Started zipping around 830am. The other 2 pipped between 430am-530am and were out around 945-1015 am!!

The one I am waiting on pipped around 1130pm.

Hopefully the one on day 19 hatches on day 20. I always feel bad leaving chicks in once they are dry so once the pipped one is out I will move the other 3.

I swear I was going to turn my incubators off until March, but here I am with 8 of my own breeding blue/splash Silkie eggs, and 16 shipped cuckoo Silkie eggs (and was that shipping process a saga - USPS "lost" them for two days), due to hatch 12.10 and 12.12 respectively. Aaaaaaand I'll probably collect this week's blue/splash eggs and throw them in on this upcoming Saturday too....
Wow, another Buckeye that loves birds!!!! I am in Pataskala and love my Ducks!!! Good luck with your hatch.
