Sorry I tried to post a photo yesterday and it didn't work. Here is the chick. She it he is walkin well now but does appear to have a droopy left wing. Not sure what that's about?! Any ideas? The pasty butt totally cleared up after one wash thank god. It is eating and drinking.

It's also much smaller than then other chicks now but ithas been struggling so much that doesn't surprise me. I hope it makes it!

Yay!! My weak chick is all better! No pasty butt no splay leg and its wing is up and the whole bird looks great!!

So we arrived in IL with my incubator in tow, my son stepped on it on accident and broke the whole top. He was so upset and crying and I had to console him and tell him it was just an accident while preparing myself for what would be left alive. After arriving at my parents I checked and out of 5 that were good before 2 lavender orpingtons made it. I am having bad luck incubating these poor little guys can't keep them away from danger too well and think maybe I shouldn't be doing this. Does anyone else have as much trouble?? I am so happy two made it and shocked because everyone was cracked from being stepped on. Will post pictures when I get home in few days they are so beautiful.
