So we arrived in IL with my incubator in tow, my son stepped on it on accident and broke the whole top. He was so upset and crying and I had to console him and tell him it was just an accident while preparing myself for what would be left alive. After arriving at my parents I checked and out of 5 that were good before 2 lavender orpingtons made it. I am having bad luck incubating these poor little guys can't keep them away from danger too well and think maybe I shouldn't be doing this. Does anyone else have as much trouble?? I am so happy two made it and shocked because everyone was cracked from being stepped on. Will post pictures when I get home in few days they are so beautiful.
