well its day 8, in 25 eggs the veins have formed and i can see the baby inside when i use the candler/flashlight.

BTW.. just added auction eggs to my incubator and the two sellers must have a hidden camera on my incubator. I had 11 eggs already.. and with bonus eggs they sent.. a great big thank you to both of them.. I am COMPLETELY FULL.. at least until the 15th of December..

Lock down started today. I don't have high hopes for this hatch, lots of up and down in temps. started with 27 and 10 made it to lock down.

So far I think my nine silkie eggs are doing alright. Couldn't resist the urge to candle them yesterday when I added more water. They looked like they were developing on track.
I am starting to get excited. December 6th is day 18 for them and then it will be like sitting on pins and needles waiting to see who makes it through the hatch.

Last hatch didn't go so well with my temps being a bit low.
This time I'm incubating a bit on the high side (well, "normal" for a still air) and they seem well-developed for week-old eggs

Only one was suspiciously smaller, but I probably won't toss anything until lockdown coz with the brown eggs I just don't trust my candling skills until it becomes really OBVIOUS which one is behind.
