:)Well, I've been talking to the eggs (chicks) today and watching the egg move a little. Day 19. We have all 3 been watching to see if we can see them moving. Many of them have moved some today. Been building the brooder box. Read a few articles on the web and discovered that ours might be a little bit too small if all 45 of them hatch! So we are changing the plan a bit. We start in the morning on the changes. The temps are supposed to get into the low 20's over night starting tomorrow night for a few nights. Never know what the next few weeks will give us in temps. Don't really want 45 chicks on my kitchen table. Have any suggestions on brooder boxes?

We put 12 in last night. I am so excited. I hope and pray they hatch:jumpy:jumpy:jumpy I am only on day 1 and am worried to death. I do not have a thing to tell me the humidity. Everytime I turn them I spray them with water. Am turning them 4x a day. the temp has stayed at 99.5 except when i turn. I know on the 18th day to not turn them anymore. We have a still air invubator 9200. I don't know if i am going to make it until day 21

I know - it's hectic!! I'm already nervous! Even though I'm a long way from hatch day I still am glued to the 'bator.

Does your incubator not have a place for you to add water?

I have Marans hatching right now. 2 pips out of 13 eggs so far, I hope that the majority hatch because they were shipped eggs and I would love to have a great Flock of Marans for this Summer

Good Luck everyone on their Hatches!

Okay got 3 fuzzy butts, one looks like a little masked bandit with the yellow red bleeding through around his eyes and little beak. I think it is a Bo/Aussie cross. The Aussie being the roo. Will post pics when all are thru 3 left.
