Decided on Buff Orpingtons

Hello all!
I have been busy getting my chicken digs ready. I had been planning on getting a few Speckled Sussex, but have not been able to locally find pullets. I found a fellow on Craigslist who sells Buff Orpingtons out in El Cajon; I talked with him and he seems on the up-and-up so this weekend I'll spring for some 4 month old Orpingtons hens.
Does anyone have any insights on any special needs these birds might have? I'm a first-timer.

orphingtons can get large but they are fairly simple~

I love orpingtons.
large orpingtons seem like a pretty docile breed I've never had a rooster be aggressive towards me even when I've gotten them around 1 year old.
