Decorating For Christmas!

This random ramble thread exists because I need as many people to be on my side of the "It's never too early to decorate for Christmas before thanksgiving". Please vote! You will make my day! Please post here too!

Day after Thanksgiving. Exception is the tree, we usually get that 2nd week in December if we do a live one. They dry out fast in the desert. If we use our artificial one, that's day after t-day too.

Never, preferably, but at the very least never before Thanksgiving.

We start the day after Thanksgiving. 7 full size trees, and one 4 ft tree, along with all of the wreaths, swags, nativity sets, decor, and table settings. It's a full two-day process. Thanksgiving is Thanksgiving. Vintage turkeys, pheasants, and pumpkins are everywhere. I just can't bring myself to put up the Christmas decorations until the day after Thanksgiving.

I should mention that THIS tree never comes down, I suppose.

If we have company for Thanksgiving we decorate the week before. If we are not having company we decorate the week after Thanksgiving.

understand the trees. Up here, we have a problem with the trees drying out because of our woodstove . have to heat cheaply somehow though.

Usually, whenever the mood strikes me. It's a lot of work to put it all up and I'm going to enjoy it.

Day after Thanksgiving to first week of December is acceptable. Don't think we will decorate this year as we're getting a cabin at the springs for the week before X-mas.
