my 4 young girls were laying 3-4 eggs a day. Suddenly production has gone down to 2-3, and today only one. Weather has warmed up. Any ideas?

How warm? Egg production tends to decrease as the temp. increases. You said they're young, so it's not an age related issue. Any changes in feeding or watering?

Changes in temperature effects their laying. Here in N. Mississippi it's in the high 90's with heat index 110. I put a fan in their house where their laying boxes are, which has helped in getting a few more eggs. But when it gets real hot or cold, it does effect egg production.
