Deer fawns for sale?

Deer, wild turkeys and rabbits walk around in my neighborhood peacefully. They live in the woods around me. The come into my yard when they see me playing with my goats. I am so glad there are places left for them because man is destroying all natural habitat and turning it into crowded developments. Even in rural areas.

It is just too much now. That is why the planet is over heating and about to fall apart. Enough is enough. Humans have to live in harmony with nature. Not take ALL of the natural habitat away from animals. I am glad someone is breeding them so they do not become extinct. Between "natural" development turning all their land into asphalt/cement jungles, hunter killing them, and other dying as road kill due to shrinking habitat, their numbers are shrinking!

We NEED more of nature around us actually! I think fewer people would be raping and serial killing if we had more natural beauty about and less over crowding of humans.

This is a big sore spot with DH. He is a hunter & HATES deer farms.

They are mostly for rich people who want to say they killed a deer, but are too stupid to be able to get on the sporting way.

I am also against deer farms, and fenced hunts. It's been reveled that often the deer are drugged so they are not able to flee, so that the 'big spender' will have a better "hunt".

For crying out loud, if that's the only way you can outsmart a deer & put food on the table, you SHOULD starve to death.

I totally agree. raising and caging animals just so somebody can kill them easier is just .........stupid. It should be illegal everywhere.​

it should be illegal to kill them. I wait for wild deer to finish grazing in my driveway before I drive up to my house on the rare days that I have the fortune of seeing them that closely. Some young wild kids speed up and try to hit them. Other kids run over squirels and rabbits. THEY are the savage beasts, not the wildlife. These are the same kids that would probably tie cans to dogs, burn cats, throw rocks at chickens, and grow up to be jeffrey dahmers. They are the slime that festers the planet like open sores.

Just found this thread, Depend on the State some you can sell deer, some not.

Yes doe fawn make great pets, most deer farms bottle feed does ,but dont want to bottle feed bucks, because they are dangerous.


Have not read all post, but most. How many on this forum would not have chicken, if someone had not started raising the jungle fowl.

Yes you can raise them for meat, just like a beef.
Not all farm raised deer are use to hunt, yes some are. You can also buy a beef and take and kill it.

Lot of those hunters that have problem with someone killing deer behind high fence. Will hunt pheasants and quail that have been released.


No I dont hunt deer behind high fence. But i do eat deer and if not wild ones, would buy them from a deerfarm.

There is a Elk farm where you can buy the elk, shoot it in the field or try loading and take it to be butcher, lot of stress loading them.

Friend of mine sell meat goats, the buyers kill the goats on his farm and leave with the meat.

Wow. I live near an Indian Reservation where everyone grows up hunting. I wonder how Native folks would feel about shooting a farm raised, bottle fed... TAME deer? A lot of folks think I'm nuts for having pet chickens, but really, it does make sense to have them around for the eggs... and people all over the world kill hand raised animals for food, that makes sense to me. I just can't seem to wrap my brain around the idea of having a bottle fed deer... to be "hunted"...
Hmmm... still thinking...

Most high fence have hundreds of acreas of land, DONOT Drug the deer. Most deer spend their life within a lot smaller land than that.

In Texas those are thousand of acreas of land, like alway people need facts.
Raising chicken in cages , make it alot easier to kill them.

I got my birds for eggs and ended up with way too many boys so i changed my mind and decided too keep them for eggs and as food. I'm sure a lot of people on here do the same.
