Deer giving birth in back yard Update PIC on pg 2

We don't know how many she had! Two years ago there was one here with twins, coulda been her. And I have the camera right next to me, keep looking out the slider to see if she is out and about. I am hoping to get a pic of the baby!

Waiting for camera to download crappy pic.....and waiting for a better shot. The baby has not made it's debut yet, but she keeps looking into the brush every few minutes.

You may not see the deer for a while. She'll keep it in hiding for some time.
Can't wait to see the pics. though! How cool. Seems a bit late in the season for her to give birth though?

i was thinking the same, but theres a broad time period for whitetail to give birth

DH says she'll have the baby out later today. She is not far from it, keeps listening and looking while she grazes. I have the camera charging next to me, and am watching the yard vigilantly! So hopefully we'll get to see the baby later today.

Look, at those sticker bushes WOW ok that is the one thing I don't miss they have bad thorns, but the black berries are so good. Poor mama deer I wonder if there labor hurts like a human? Keep us posted
