I just noticed why my little OE pullet is ALWAYS eating and ALWAYS seems to have food hanging out of her mouth. There is something WRONG with her beak. . .
It does not look like a scissor beak. The beaks are NOT misaligned left to right. . . .
The beak looks more like the top and bottom were not made to fit together. When the tips of the beaks are touching, you can see right thru her mouth because the top beak curves up.
She is 8 weeks old.
I was wondering if any one knew what this type of beak defect is called.
Also, wondering what I should feed her that would make it easier for her to eat.
I will try to get a picture of it, but I won't be able to do that until Thursday. I was hoping you guys / gals might be able to help me out before then
