Defendant in Oregon Dog Shooting

What happened to the thread about the guy in Oregon that shot his neighbor's dog? Was it taken down on purpose, or is it just my problem getting back to it?

I wanted to add the following after someone posted the dog owners address (maybe that's a reason for taking the thread down).

If a moderator took it down, I'm sorry for posting about it again, please delete this.

Whoa! This man is after all a "grieving owner", and I mean that seriously. I don't think being mean to him or pointing out the error of his ways is going to help anything. The whole mess in in the court system now. Picking on this man may possibly make things worse for the "shooter", who is this man's neighbor. Mr. Gapp has already sent out the flyer to turn neighborhood opinion against the guy we're defending, don't give him any more ammunition.

I think that somebody posting Gapp's personal info got it deleted.

They might have deleted in because of the dog owner's address being posted....they probably don't want him being harassed.

Still, it was sad to lose the entire thread because that contained all of the information of the story as well as how to email the prosecutor and the newspaper editors. Can we keep this thread up but just leave Gapp's (and Harris') info out of it?

I reported it because of the personal info that had been posted about the dog owner. And I'll report any posts I see with the info re-posted.

BYC is not the place to start a witch hunt: it's a place to discuss laws affecting chicken owners and their livestock.
