This is a pic of my Black Sex Link pullet, she's about 12 weeks old. She's the only one out of my Black Sex Links, actually my whole flock, that has this comb issue. Any ideas what's wrong, if anything?

Most breeds of hens have a floppy comb. I have never had sex links, so I am not sure what they are supposed to have. What I can tell you is that it there is nothing wrong with it, and they will be just fine.

A unique comb will give his appearance some personality.

I used to have a rooster who was left outside in the cold by previous owners. All the "tines" on his comb turned black and fell off from frostbite before I got him. He was left with a small knot of part of a single comb on top of his head. I got him when I was in elementary school, so my younger siblings and I thought it would be a good idea to name him "King Comb" so that he didn't feel bad about having a messed-up comb. Hee hee. King Comb lived for more than ten years, and we called him by his nickname, "Knothead," from time to time. I loved that rooster and cried like a baby when he died (I was in college by then).

She's just gonna have a combover comb when she grows up...nothing that's gonna do her any harm...
When Obelisk was younger her comb would flop over when she was laying...it doesn't now because she's older...

Thanks everyone. I guess I'll just call her "The one with the cowlick!"

Chicken Lady, maybe we'll refer to her as the "Knothead", I like that!!!
