I had a chick hatch with 2 deformed feet , not splayed leg . The toes/feet are curled in, like it walks on its elbows is the best way I can describe it. Is this fixable? I don't know what to do the other chicks were walking all over it before I noticed .

I have a chick with this same problem. I was advised to give her some vitamins in her water that contains riboflavin. And make tape "shoes" to help straighten them out. I've started mine on the vits and have her feet taped. She's clumsy but seems to be doing ok. We will see. Good luck with your baby!

Do you have yours seperated ? I hope I can help it 😭

I do now. The others kept knocking her over so I made her her own little box. She seems happy. Not very mobile so I try to keep her close to food/water. And I know what you mean, I hope she recovers. Don't want her to suffer.

You need to give them a day to straighten out before you do any interfering. They usually straighten out on their own before the 24 hours are up.

Also they should be on something not slippery. A lot of people are using cabinet grippy liner, I use rug gripper mats that I cut to size to fit in the brooders.
