Dehydrated Chicks?

Hello- I had 2 baby silkies hatch today. Should I wait till tomorrow to give the babies water. I'm thinking of putting Apple cider vinegar in their water as I've heard it kills some germs in the intestines

Congrats on the babies!

They don't need water the first day of life, but it doesn't hurt to offer it once they are completely dry and ready to move to the brooder.

As for ACV, I don't personally use it but I hear a ton of people do with great success. You can search to see the proper amount.

Thank you so much! They hatched at about 12:30 today and stayed under the momma till about 8 then I moved them To the brooder. Really cute. They love each other. Partridge and a Buff or White?
