I saw my 14 year old niece the other day and had to do a double take.
She looks so much like my sister did at that age... right down to the 80's fashion! Pony tail on the side, jean jacket with leggings and a puffy skirt.
The styles are recycling!

I come from the 90's grunge era. The whole grrrl power and scater chick thing was all me in high school. My sister is 8 years older than em so we'e two different eras
