It wasn't that long ago that I found myself with an abundance of Delaware hens with no rooster. (Rest in Peace, Florence)
I tried to locate a Delaware cockerel locally, to no avail. So in lieu of a cockerel, I bought hatching eggs from a breeder in NC. Now I have an abundance of cockerels. Hatched 7/10/13 and they are looking quite impressive already. There are six extra cockerels.
I can meet someone at the Oklahoma State Poultry Federation Show in Shawnee Oklahoma 12/14/13, as we will be there. If I am given enough notice, I can have them tested through the State so they can join a NPIP flock.
