Delaware hens or Roos!?

I have read that Delaware Hens have solid black tail feathers with white tips while the roosters have black and white barred tail feathers. Well all four of my Delaware 6 week old chicks have barring on their tails. I wanted all hens and no Roos. Am I doomed??

All Delawares are barred. So if they aren't barred, they aren't Delawares. Hens typically have lighter barring, but it's still there.

We need to see pics of combs/wattles (head shots) to sex at this age.

It's about having larger combs and wattles, and red, not pale colored combs. Also cockerels tend to have thicker legs than same aged pullets. Don't worry about colored markings right now!

I know they all have barring around their necks I’ve just read the tail barring is what makes a difference in gender.

I mean they all have the barring gene. Which means it will show anywhere that has pigment (black). So necks and tails.

Color has nothing to do with it. From what I can see maybe 1 or 2 males update in 2 weeks
