The superglue is a good idea...they use some version of it to seal surgical wounds now and I think they even sell and OTC version for wounds at pharmacies...not sure if the skin glue is the same formula as the actual super glue but it all works the same. Just make sure it's clean and dry before applying and hold him still while it dries and it should do the trick.

Thank you both! DH is picking some up on his way home from work today.

Here are the other 2 boys living in the Bachelor's Pad.....

This one is light in coloring. I may use him with some of the darker colored girls I have (if I get back into this breeding thing). See the barred guy in there with him - that is George, my F1, his grandpa!

This one is okay, except for those wings. I have not really checked him out well...
Yes some of our F4s had wing feathers like that.
Wow George is huge - you sure he doesn't have some Emu in him LOL

Yes those F1s are huge they took after the GSBRs side in size + hybrid vigor on top of all that, they are my largest chickens I have here, my one WR boy may exceed them but it'll be close close if he does. I have often referred to them in the past as gargantous the girls too. they are bigger than pure GSBR side by side.

One of my Del pullets has come into her own now that she is laying. She actually bit me the other day when I was filling the feeder...did a little training and she has not repeated this rushing in and taking over the feeder again or trying to bite. But...she did face down the dog today at the scrap pile and I've never had a chicken of mine do that before. When he would lunge and growl at her, she just jumped up in the air and cackled..but did not run. They did it a few more times but she won the round and when last I saw her she was picking meat off of the dog's deer bone and the dog was left with old pasta shells.

She was the only chicken that dared to even approach the scraps while the dog was there. What a hen!!! Her name is Aunt Goldie.
