Find cheaper feed.....mix it with the expensive feed....they will eat it. They are not going to starve themselves, I promise!! I have changed brands several times....I just make sure about the protein level and other ingredients. We have several feed stores including a co-op. I drive through and check prices and on the way back pick up the best feed for the best price.

We are feeding both pigs and chickens...well, and then the cat treats for the cat.

Get on the phone and call everywhere you can find within a 25 mile radius and find some decent priced feed.

I too would like to know the brand of this feed and where it was purchased, a lot of people have asked this already but still no answer on it??

I live in Canada but I pay 15 bucks for a 50 lb of layer feed. and it lasts me a couple weeks.

I found the Soy-Free Layer feed on their site and it's listing a 50lb bag for $35. I think it was the store.

If you truly have a 4lb bag of layer feed from Farmer D Organics and paid almost $40.00 for it you may want to take the open bag and your receipt back to the store for a price adjustment. It appears you were probably mischarged for a 50 lb bag at check out.
