I dont want to rule out predator but why on earth would a coyote just cut the wings and let it go. I bet some person who is demented just cut the wings and let it go! I seen things like that on animal planet.

I imagine it got overwhelming, she wanted to vent and some of us (me too) got pretty upset about it. She knows her situation and I hope she understands I don't mean to be overbearing. Hope it all turns out well.

Hi Guys, I ended the post after out of control emails and people asking for my address. I love our ducks, but GEESH! I did what I could. I wasn't going to tick off a bunch of locals, over people getting nasty. I even had people asking for the street address to call who knows who?? the ducks are still penned and we have not found out whom it was. We do have a thought to a poor family that raises all their own food. I hate to point fingers, BUT..... i prefer to keep our address and small town private. Sorry
