liquid...tastes bad, heard that vanilla in the water with the denagard makes it taste better although I have not tried it. My chooks drink 1/2 as much water with the denagard in it so don't go filling up all sorts of containers since it needs to be changed daily

Ya know, when you put the med in the water you can smell the bitter odor. Kind of medicinal. But my guys actually seemed to like it. They started slurping it down when I put the waterer back down. So I have had no problem with them drinking it. So I would try it without "doctoring" it for taste and see how they do.

I've used Denegard before and added a couple spoonfulls of local honey to the water to sweeten it up, they seemed to like it just fine.
