I thought this RIR was getting picked on. We use sand and sulfur and have diligently looked for mites or lice.

Could this be depluming mites?
Thank you

I have the same question as you... did you ever find a solution? I have tried Elector PSP, thinking it was mites, and ketoconazole cream, thinking it was yeast.

No solution at all:(

We now think it's stress and bullying. It's been a chore that's for sure. This hen is actually a very high strung girl. She's a red sex link.

We also use sulfur and that will kill DM and so we deduce it's not that.

Hope you figure yours out. It's frustrating.

Thanks for the update. These things can be so tricky to figure out. I’ve had luck with “pinless peepers” with persistent bullies — just have to make sure they can easily reach food and water. I’ll let you know if I crack the case with mine. Good luck!
