Ombré!!! So I'm candling the MPC eggs and I drop one. It didn't burst but it's cracked pretty bad. Membrane is not broken. I'm so upset. Posted on BYC but not sure when anyone can respond. Gonna google after posting this.

Candles the other eggs and one has already pipped!! I can't believe it! Tomorrow is day 18 so I went ahead and put them on lock down. Would be cool to see one before I leave for work for the weekend!

OK, for the cracked egg, if it's day 18, maybe you shouldn't worry about patching it up? Or just put a spot of scotch tape on it...

It's the eggs that are 14 days. I've decided to let it go. I'll (super carefully) candle tonight and make sure it's still alive. Lock down is Friday. Maybe we'll get lucky.

Thank you! She's holding up good. I feel so bad though cuz she's all alone. The other has broke through. I see its beak from time to time. Hope she hatched before I go to bed.

We have 3 chick-a-babies!! All are doing well in the bator, knocking eggs around and peeping up a storm.
