My lovely Mr. Fluffers was an awesome rooster. We had a day time coon attack nearly 2 months back, and he saved the girls. I had a few pullets with missing tails, missing side feathers where little hands and ripped them out trying to grab hold, and Mr. Fluffers sustained a sprained wing and internal injuries. I tried my darndest to keep him going, and he lived for 8 days after the attack, and only one hen was lost. She was also fairly beat up in the attack. It was a juvie coon... He was the first rooster I ever had, and proved to me that not all roosters are created equal. His son however is filling in his foot prints pretty well for a nine month old... His son is mixed with bantam cochin.

Isn't he lovely... I originally named him ubee...(U.B. for Ugly Boy... cuz boy was he an ugly thing when he was a chick. LOL, so ugly he was cute!)
