Derperella, the (weird) Faverolles, & Friends

I had heard that too, but some people have also said they use multiple hatcheries

I do know that I ordered easter eggers from Meyers, and they don't seem as vigerous as the birds from MPC

reguardless, I still think it is just that particular line of salmon favs that creates more derps (and hatcheries are certainly able to have multiple lines, so even from the same hatchery it would be a crap shoot) lol Thank you for sharing her with us, Nambroth

Ok, so Derp and Coho inspired me to admire and love the Faverolle breed, and I thought Nambroth would be tickled to know that I've gotten hatching eggs from Nonesuch Farms for.... you guessed it: Faverolles!

Today is day 19 1/2, and we have a pip in the first egg! I'm stuck at work and losing my mind over wanting to go home and check on the babies



I'm so very excited, and want to thank Nambroth for inspiring me to take the plunge and find the perfect breed for my very first hatch

I've got such an intense craving for Derp/Coho/ Chickadee photos I am climbing the walls. Nambroth please put up some more or at least a paragraph about their antics.

spazzy susie is not intellectually challenged at all. She is simply unique. She is very brave, and also has some survival skills up her sleeve. She was lost during a severe all night snowstorm earlier this month. And survived! we found her the next morning almost in the neighbors yard.I picked her up, carried her to the other girls. When I got home she was wiping her floofs on a tree. She seems to have made friends with the sandbox..... if she's lost, half the time she's there.

I think Suzie and Derp would enjoy some play dates together and be the best of friends. It's great to find someone who understands you.
