My incubator is full to but there is always room for cochins! I offer 6+ eggs from my free range layer flock. Probably closer to 12 eggs.

Hens:

golden comets
dekalb amberlinks
black jersey giant
easter eggers
silkie/easter egger cross
production red
golden comet/amberlink cross

Roos:

golden comet (first in command)
black jersey giant (second in command)
easter eggers
golden comet/amberlink cross

I am only getting 1-2 blue/green eggs a day the rest are brown. The mixed roos grow out to around 4lbs(table weight) by 24 wks and the pullets usually lay around 20-24 wks. The pullets are laying an egg every day and only seem to be missing one a week just like the parent stock.

I am supposed to be getting a stubbornly broody buff orp from my boss next week... maybe she could hatch me some mutts?
Meanwhile, I will be lurking and drooling.

Somebody else that bought them are getting colored eggs from theirs and the hens and roos she got look alot like silkies. Not so puffy but they have the same feather type, comb, skin color and off and on with the 5 toes.

And Shellz, I candled the other 3 darker brown eggs, and all 6 of the eggs that arrived intact have veins! Just thought you may like an update, I can't wait for them to hatch! Just 12 more days

they are a mix of standed and bantam,some have 3 toes while others have 5 toes all have feathered legs/feet though
