I guess I kinda do this already...I am not moving/rotating this set of eggs around.I thought of something else and don't remember if it was mentioned or not.How about keeping track of where in the turner the eggs were placed?
This is a really great idea!On the egg I mark who laid it, date collected and date set. When I candle them at day 10 I toss quitters and record who's egg and how old it was when set. I do the same at lockdown. Then I try to check during hatch often enough to record the down and leg and skin color that hatches out of which birds egg. I recently started recording the position of quitters, row 2 4th from left etc. If I have early deaths I record who's egg it hatched from if I have the info
Okay, that's good. I thought of it because there is one spot in my incubator that has never hatched an egg!I guess I kinda do this already...I am not moving/rotating this set of eggs around.
I have them in numerical order.
