Detroit version of Wichita Cabin Coop

Looking at the tracks they are definitely not raccoon, by how close the tracks are to each other I would say they are from a large squirrel. My brother lives in Farmington not too far from Detroit and they have big Fox Squirrels.

I would totally believe squirrel. Our yard is loaded with them! :)

I think anyone smart person who takes their time and is willing to back up and fix mistakes can learn to build things.
You two certainly did a great job and learned skills that you will be glad for for the rest of your lives.

Inspection for a chicken coop?? ...... makes me glad I escaped Metro Detroit a long time ago!

Thanks aart! It ends up the inspection was much bigger in my head than in real life. It took all of 10 minutes. He mostly wanted to make sure it was sturdy, had an underground barrier and was at least 10 feet away from an existing structure. Easiest inspection ever. :)
