Devastated-Hawkeye is Dead..

Sort of a strange question, considering he's been dead for three days, don't you think?

He's buried next to my Lacy, my SLW hen I lost not long ago, my first girl to pass away of my original flock. He'd probably not be too thrilled since he wasn't particularly fond of Lacy, though I was.

New Here at BYC, but So SORRY for your loss.

I'm a HUGE animal lover, grew up & always lived in the country. When my favorite chicken died, it was Very sad. She'd even do this chicken noise when I'd call her or she'd see me. They're like family & we treat them like so.

I think that'd be a VERY Important thing to have up as a Sticky Post - Products or Ingredients UNsafe for chickens (or even household birds possibly). I'd definately read it. I've seen posts with yellow chicks by them -does that mean a 'sticky' post?

Oh Cyn, I haent been on BYC much lately, I'm so sad for you.
I know how you, your husband & your girls loved that boy. I remember the pics of him all a mess when you first got him.
