Devastated! Warning Graphical

I built one exactly like yours. The only problem I have is something digging under the wire (I buried it all around the outside of the run) and eating all the chicken feed. Much better than eating all the chickens.
A guy in town has about 1,000 red bricks he wants gone, so I'll get them and place around coop/run 2 deep length wise.

Same here. A lady friend of ours suggested we start a Go Fund Me to get the cameras, fence the property and more coops built. So my 14 year old son started it. This will protect our animals, tools, gas and whatever else from being taken from us. I think times will be getting worse. As a single parent its difficult enough, we don't need all this added stress. These yahoos should just stay off our property and keep their animals on their own property. I just don't understand their mentality.
Stopping the dogs from coming on the property is a priority. I use pallets and roll fencing. The cheapest 17 gauge electric fence wire I've found is a 250 feet roll for $5.00 on Amazon and you can also buy a Patriot fence charger for $35. Its not powerful but most dogs won't get near anything that'll hurt them.

I have a Parmak that I brought with me from Nebraska that does 25 miles, but the battery needs replaced. One step at a time. The goats fence is 50¼" tall, a dog jumped it and attacked one of my goats. I'll need to go 6' fence. Plan on 48" No Climb horse fence, 3 strand of barbed wire then hot wire on top.

Sorry I'm rambling on, it too quiet now, my son and I are very distraught. There has been a bird dog reported running loose, that's what I shot at in the goats area. Will they do this to chickens and ducks?
I am so very, very sorry for your loss!!!!! I can't imagine how you must feel. For my chickens, I have learned that I have my chickens in huge, huge top-bottom-front and back fenced in with coop.!!!! They are tooooo precious, as you know,

Yes they are, all our pets mean salot to us. My son and I are still stressed over this long going issue. As he said "Dad, its too quiet out here, and the ducks aren't here to come up and feed from our hands. The big drake Muscovy would grab my pant leg if I didn't get the food to him when he wanted it.

This is so horrible! I'm so sorry you and your family have been experiencing this - and so sorry your son came home to see this! Have you figured out more about what could have done this?

We still think its the dogs from town. The Game Warden agrees, the 4 dead dogs of mine were poisoned, 2 Game Wardens and their Vet agree. The rest were stolen as no feather or anything remains. I had chick the size of Cornish hens in a metal dog kennel, all gone when we went to feed, had went out grocery shopping.

I don't want you to take this the wrong way but I wouldn't be buying anymore chickens or ducks until I got the proper set up and had cameras up. Losing 100 dogs, ducks and chickens isn't a small thing. If you're new to the area I'd put up some no trespassing signs. How big a place do you have?
