Is there a trick to getting the shells of quail eggs after boiling. This took me way too long.

Is there a trick to getting the shells of quail eggs after boiling. This took me way too long.

I don't know about quail eggs, but when i hard-boil eggs i find soaking them in ice-water after helps the shell come off easier.

I used to put them directly into ice water, which helped. But now I boil eggs in the instant pot and they come off perfect, even if I leave them in shell until I’m ready to eat. Haven’t done with quail eggs though, so not sure of the timing.

Don't know if this would work with quail eggs as well but adding lemon juice to the boiling water makes eggs peel easier in my opinion...

I tried vinegar, ice water after. Still tuff!!
I will give the lemon juice at try, thank you.

No trick....it's just a pain to peel them.
