Dew claw bumblefoot

Hey all! Our drake Campbell seems to have an infected dew claw. Just notice it today and I plan on treating it like bumblefoot. What is the best way to wrap it? I have booties for bumblefoot on the bottom of feet, but the dew claw is new territory. Any advice on treatment and wrapping?

Do you see a scab? Until you are ready to open and get the infection out I’d just soak in warm Epsom salt water if there is a scab the ES will help to soften it so you can peel the scab off then get out the infection that is when to wrap I'd go around the dew claw with a no stick pad you might want to cut it to fit then use vet wrap and go around the toe then around the ankle to keep it from falling off. Check in a few days to see if you got all the infection out keep wrapped till hole is healed over. I just finished doing a bumble removal in my Indian Runner duck.

There is a little scab. We just finished a bumblefoot on one of our girls. She healed quickly thankfully, I'm hoping the same with Campbell. He's had bumblefoot before and it took 7 weeks to heal.
