Hi All!
My Swedish Duck Quackers somehow ripped her dew claw off! Just the claw on the end. It was bleeding a bit and I washed it in soapy water, then dried it and put super glue on it. It was still oozing a tiny bit of blood so I pressed a tiny piece of clean paper towel on it and it glued on.
She is favoring it a bit but is super healthy otherwise.
My question for you all is, do I need to do anything else? She has clean water and a very clean coop and yard.
Thank you!

Something similar happened to my duck, Nettle, about 4.5 years ago. She's perfectly fine. After one year the nail actually started growing back! It is a little smaller than the one on the other side.

I'd probably keep an eye on it to make sure it doesn't start doing something funky, like getting infected. But Nettle played in the mud everyday when it happened to her and she didn't have a problem. :idunno
