Once I get home today I got some cleaning in the brooder to do then I am on to check the eggs once it gets dark enough outside. Sunset is after 7pm.

Dont forget to let us all know. Our darkness falls at about 8pm as British Summertime commenced last Saturday when the clocks went forward

I hope so too. I don't want to get my hopes up too much seeing I have all kinds of strikes against me already with them being shipped eggs lol

DEWLAP UPDATE DAY 9.5
The eggs are progressing well and there is rapid growth of the extra embryonic membranes vital for growth and life support. This chorio-allantoic membrane now lines over half the inner surface of the eggshell. As the chick and its membranes grow the detail becomes more hazy. The air cell has started to enlarge and now can be clearly seen.

I will have babies hanging around my yard... YAY

The Canadian Geese came back yesterday to have their babies on the island of my pond. I didn't think they would be back this year as one of them lost their mate last year. I hope its the same momma because she used to let me sit and feed the babies without getting all hissy about it. She liked the treats too.
